Two apartments on the 14th & 15th floor of this high-rise residential tower in Pune were redesigned as a duplex during the construction phase itself to create a spacious home for the client. Our concept was to design a home of understated elegance with a sense of spaciousness
The intent was to have a more elaborate and opulent interior in the more public spaces of the lower level. The entry lobby, living, dining area, powder room and the family retreat are unified by use of wood, brass, stone and smooth finish wall paper. At the same time the owner’s collections of curios and items were highlighted to provide a personal touch to the spaces.
Natural materials like stone and brass were used as accents and walnut finish was chosen for the woodwork to create a warm interior.
The living & dining areas are luxurious and open while the more private parts of the house are casual and comfortable.
The private spaces on the upper floors were individualized for the users and had their own distinct themes.
